'The Daily Show' Debate Live Stream Is Literally Just A Zen Garden
Leave it to “The Daily Show” to broadcast the most bearable version of Wednesday night’s presidential debate.
Instead of running a split screen of Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton going at it, “The Daily Show” aired on Facebook Live two candles behind podiums in a Zen garden. Occasionally, a hand will enter the debate stage and very gently rake the sand.
You can still hear a low hum of the actual debate in the background, but it is mostly drowned out by the sounds of trickling water pouring from a miniature fountain and the peaceful flute music heard most commonly during a yoga class or a massage session.
We don’t have to tell you how stressful the third presidential debate is already turning out to be, but if you need a calming refuge away from the debate stage, watch the live stream below.
All together now: Ommmmmmm.
